A self-proclaimed honorary Southerner, despite growing up north of the Mason-Dixon Line, Josh Gallagher has always been country to his core. If you didn’t know he was raised in Cresson, Pennsylvania, it’s unlikely that would be anyone’s first guess because his style takes country music to another level.

Growing up in the woods, attending bonfire parties and just simply being a country boy is what made Gallagher into the singer-songwriter he is today. The memories of the songs he and his friends cranked up loud in the back of those jacked up pickup trucks have definitely influenced who he has become as an artist.

An aspiring professional baseball player, Gallagher found that music was how he was able to focus before games, and eventually his passion shifted from the diamond to a six-string.

Gallagher is known for bringing a certain energy to every stage he steps on, and that was one of the reasons he was able to become successful, finishing fourth on Season 11 of NBC’s The Voice. Being coached by both Blake Shelton and Adam Levine gave him invaluable knowledge of the music industry, and he’s brought that back to Nashville where since that time, he’s found himself as an artist and is set to release two EPs in 2019.

He’s performed on CMA Fest stages, during both the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day and Nashville Christmas parades and has shared the stage as a supporting act with some of country music’s biggest stars. His live show is known to be electric and exciting, with a rock performance style. When fans leave the building after one of his shows, they will always feel it was worth the price of admission.
