GARY BURR is a Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member. He is an ASCAP, Billboard and NSAI Country Songwriter of the Year. He has written fifteen #1 hits and has had songs recorded by Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, Carole King, Ringo Starr, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Christina Aguilera and Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson and many others. Gary has released four solo cds on his independent label.
GEORGIA MIDDLEMAN is a former Giant Recording artist who has written songs for Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, Joe Nichols, Martina McBride, Sheila E., Radney Foster and Maia Sharp, among many others. Her song “When The Right One Comes Along” was featured on the ABC television show “Nashville.” Georgia has released four independent cds of her own, including her 2018 jazz-influenced cd of original songs “Plum” and her 2019 acoustic cd “Requests,” featuring some of Georgia’s most requested songs.
Together, they are known as the duo Middleman Burr. From 2011 to 2017, Gary and Georgia were two-thirds of the trio, Blue Sky Riders, along with Kenny Loggins. They have also performed and sung back-up for Carole King and Ringo Starr.
Married for ten years now, Gary and Georgia perform for audiences all over the country. Since the pandemic started, the couple has been doing two livestreams a week from their living room. With harmony and humor, they weave an evening to remember featuring their original songs as well as the stories behind them.
