"It channels inspiration from the artists and poets I grew up on, but stands alone as a Dukes of Hume sound. It was very important for us to release an LP, as The Golden Road is meant to be listened to as a collective. It tells the story of love, loss, and growing up. The album was produced by Tres Sasser and engineered by Joe Costa. They changed the game for us, and gave “The Golden Road” wings. I hope the bits of ourselves we left in the creation of this record will find you and fill your soul the same way they’ve filled mine.”
