Girls Write Nashville empowers expression through songwriting, production, mentorship and creative community for teen artists. We are an artist- and educator-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit creative youth development program in Nashville, TN allied with community schools to create safe and trauma-informed creative communities and opportunities for cultural participation for youth artists.

Thalia D is a sixteen year old singer-songwriter who plays guitar and piano, but mostly writes her songs on her beloved guitar. She also likes doing all types of art- visual, musical, and more. She loves to take long walks to get her inspiration and finds that songs often come to her when she least expects them to. She enjoys folk music and rock and roll- and a little bit of everything else!
Koley Berry is a 16 y/o singer/songwriter from Nashville that plays the guitar & violin. She loves composing and creating and the best part of her day is being able to get home and write/play her instruments. She also loves apple juice and journaling!
Solace is an 18-year old artist that would describe her music as modern folk. She loves artists like Susanne Sundfør, Beach House, Julia Jacklin, and Weyes Blood. She makes music usually in her bedroom or in the midst of nature, where she finds her inspiration. Her favorite topics to write about are the moving of time and relationship dynamics.
Anya is currently a Junior at Cane Ridge High School. She has been captivating audiences with her unique lyrics and ever growing guitar skills for 4 years now. Anya has a deep love of music and art. She is inspired by Elliott Smith, Sufjan Stevens, and Ani Difranco.
