Shantelle & The Juke Joint Band have been providing  musical entertainment across the country since 1999. Shantelle Hudson-Black hails from Dyersburg, TN, where she began singing at an early age.  The band consists of rhythm section, keys, and a (3) piece brass section. Shantelle moved to Nashville, TN, to attend Tennessee State University, where she was a cheerleader for two years. It was at TSU that Shantelle fell in love with blues.  Shantelle is an active member of several musical organizations, Musicians Aid Society, Nashville Blues and Roots Alliance, and The Blues Foundation, that aid in the continuing growth and support of blues music. She currently has her first blues single, “Haunting Me”, streaming on all platforms.  This Princess of Blues, is just what the blues doctor recommends! My Blues Ain't Pretty!
