Growing up in the glow of CMT's Hot 20 Countdown, being lulled to sleep to "Don't Rock the Jukebox"- country music was Samee's first love. She spent her younger years listening to live versions of Sammy Kershaw in concert, imagining the crowd was chanting "Samee! Samee!" for HER. It was then she felt the desire to make a name for herself in country music. 

Beginning with pageants and talent shows all over her home state of South Carolina, Samee found a love in the stage lights. After High School and some college- Samee formed her first band, a trio- “Artillery 3” which later became into a duo with her sister labeled “Pretty Artillery”. After years of playing local bars, festivals, and showcases- Samee released her debut EP also named “Pretty Artillery” in 2014. It was during that process she discovered her love for crafting songs. 

Three years later Samee made the move to Music City, Nashville TN. After years of honing her skills in writers-rooms and writers-rounds all over Nashville, things came to fruition when Samee released her single “The Mailman” in 2022. Followed by her summer hit “Runnin’ on Water” and powerhouse collaboration “Salt & Sugar” recorded with Samee’s co-writers and friends Melissa Livingstone and Page Mackenzie. Throughout Samee’s career she has gained fans all over the globe. Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and even the Philippines- just to name a few. She has a strong presence on all social media platforms and a fan base that is very supportive. Her musical influences include all of the 90’s and Y2K country music queens like Jo Dee Messina, Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood and The Chicks which reflects in her sound. From her heart-wrenching ballads to upbeat anthems, her music has something for everyone.
