A prodigious musician and songwriter, indie wunderkind Ben Goldsmith grew up in Long Island where he began studying guitar when he was six years old, quickly switching over from violin. Having trained with Tomo Fujita at Berklee College of Music, Goldsmith never questioned music would be his life. The dynamic performer has released two albums via Free Flight Records/Sony Music – The World Between My Ears and The Start of Something Beautiful – each showcasing the once-in-a-generation talent’s knack for crafting a hook and capturing emotions that connect with audiences around the globe. Adopting Nashville as his new hometown, Goldsmith is working with the likes of Natalie Hemby, Alex Hope, Caitlyn Smith, Laura Veltz, and more, while in Los Angeles he has recorded with creatives such as Dan Wilson, Rick Nowels and Peter Fenn. Through it all he has toured around the world, hitting festivals including Bonnaroo, Extra Innings, and Germany’s Reeperbahn.
