Alison Prestwood has been named by the Country Music Hall of Fame as the newest member of the elite group of studio musicians and singers known as the Nashville Cats. In addition to being a top studio and touring bass player from Nashville (check her credits on allmusic.com), Alison is a unique singer/songwriter. She can rock hard or bring you to tears. She tours with Peter Frampton when not working in the studio.

Rodney Crowell and Alison Prestwood wrote and performed the song “Beautiful Man,” a tribute to Michael Rhodes, world class bass player and dear friend, who passed away in March 2023.
