After meeting at Belmont University in the whirlwind of 2020, Connor Fiehler (guitar) and AJ Huang (sax) immediately formed a deep musical connection and played together all the time in their tiny dorm rooms in Nashville, TN. A year later, they brought together a group of their closest friends and favorite musicians, including Corrina Gill (vocals), Elise Petersen (vocals), Isaac Mauldin (bass), Matt Martirano (drums), and Jack Warren (sax/flute), to create The PitchPockets, a 7-piece funk/soul/pop band. Over the last two years, the band has gained quite a devoted following, being known for their eclectic mix of grooves, powerful melodies, and virtuosic musicianship.

From humble beginnings, The PitchPockets got their start playing house shows and small venues around Nashville, quickly gaining a following and reputation for putting on an electric live show. In April 2021, The PitchPockets released their debut single, “Out My Mind”, that has gained quite a bit of traction, garnering over 10,000 streams across streaming platforms. The band is currently set to release their debut EP in mid-April, 2023.

In addition to being in the band, all of the members of The PitchPockets are rising young freelance musicians and artists in the Nashville music scene. Notably, AJ Huang, Connor Fiehler, and Jack Warren are also members of the Pitch Meeting band that has performed at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Corrina Gill has a solo project under the name Corrina, and Connor Fiehler also has a solo project under his name.
