Alison Prestwood has been a session musician in Nashville for over twenty years, playing on countless recording sessions, including records with Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, and many others.  She has toured extensively with many artists, including Patty Loveless, Rodney Crowell, Shawn Colvin and Olivia Newton-John. She has been nominated four times for the ACM Award for Bass Player of the Year by the Academy of Country Music.

Alison plays bass with many bands, including her own band, FAB (Beatles music), the Dylan Altman Blues Band, David Leonard, Rob Robinson, and Walking Man (James Taylor music).

Her first album as a singer/songwriter, Little Leaf, was released in May 2019. She and her band played a successful record release show at 3rd & Lindsley on July 2, 2019.   Alison also frequently plays solo acoustic shows and songwriter rounds.

MARIANA is an exciting new band in Nashville TN, specializing in Funk, Soul, and Soul Jazz music. Spearheaded by the twin guitar attack of Phil Hughley (McRary Sisters, Rev Sekou) and Time Jumpers guitarist Andy Reiss, the band also features Greg Bryant on bass, Lance Lucas on keys, and Derion Hayes on drums. The band also features a rotating cast of some of the finest singers in town, including at times Dara Tucker, Wendy Moten and Kevin Whalum. The deep pocket and dynamic interplay of this experienced cast ensures excitement and joy!
