Gale Mayes continues the Labor Day festivities by presenting A Classic Evening Of Music that’s sure to be a night full of excitement and soul stirring music in the theme of a Masquerade Party. Also appearing will be crooner, David Pearson, who will performs songs from his self titled album, DAVID PEARSON. Grab a mask and come join the party!
Originating at 3rd & Lindsley in 2015, A Classic Evening Of Music is a show that features Gale Mayes and her dynamic band, performing classic songs from various genres, artists, and sometimes even television/movie tracks. Gale Mayes’ nearly 30 yr. extensive history as a touring singer and background vocalist with many mega artists such as Reba McEntire, Lyle Lovett, Rascal Flatts, Michael McDonald, Andrae Crouch, Cece Winans, and Mike Farris, makes her prepared to render from many catalogs, although she has a strong appeal in Classic Soul. Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Rait, The Beatles, B.B. King, Ann Peeples, Al Green, Michael McDonald, and The Eagles, are only a few of the artist repertoires she has covered tunes from throughout these years.
This exhilarating show captures the hearts of it’s regular patrons, and is rapidly becoming a Nashville “must go show” among those seeking live, grown folks music in a safe environment with good food and fun.
