With stunning heart and distinct style, Natalie Hemby has become one of country music’s defining songwriters. The Nashville native has written six No. 1 singles: Lady Antebellum’s “Downtown,” Little Big Town’s “Pontoon” and “Tornado,” Miranda Lambert’s “White Liar” and “Automatic,” and Justin Moore’s “You Look Like I Need A Drink.” “Automatic” earned Hemby a Grammy nomination for Best Country Song in 2015. The hit also took home ACM Song of the Year honors the same year, as well as a NSAI Song of the Year win and a CMA Song of the Year nomination in 2014.  Hemby’s stacked catalog also includes Lambert’s “Baggage Claim” and “Only Prettier”; Toby Keith’s “Drinks After Work”; Kelly Clarkson’s “Don’t Rush,” featuring Vince Gill; “A Little More Love” from Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice; Jana Kramer’s “Said No One Ever”; and songs for Blake Shelton, Sheryl Crow, Eli Young Band, Lee Ann Womack, Johnnyswim, Maren Morris, Rosi Golan, and more. In 2017 Hemby released her debut album, Puxico, which garnered a flurry of media attention and landed her on Rolling Stone's Best Album list, CMT Favorite 17 Albums of 2017, American Songwriter's Top 25 Albums of 2017, and many more. The collection of songs were written as the soundtrack to her documentary, Puxico, which was inspired by her grandfather and and the legendary homecoming event they have each year in his hometown of Puxico, MO.
