LAZER LLOYD is a singer-songwriter and guitarist blending Americana, swamp country blues, folk and roots rock with down home groove. After graduating from Skidmore, an Atlantic Records AandR exec showcased Lloyd and paired him with producer Garry Tallent (E-Street Band) to record in Nashville. Singer/songwriter Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach encouraged the artist to relocate his career to Israel. He fell in love and moved his vintage guitar collection to the Middle East joining psychedelic Israeli jam band Reva L’Sheva. Continuing solo work, his 2012 electric release, “My Own Blues,” began to attract international attention. In 2013, Lazer joined forces with his manager and co-producer Yo Seidman and created Lots of Love Records.

In 2014 the compilation “Insides Out” was released. In 2015 they put out an all new studio album, the self-titled, Lazer Lloyd. The record won widespread praise in the music press and spent twelve weeks on the Roots Music Report chart, won #3 RMR Blues/Rock CD of 2015. In 2016 Lazer went viral on Facebook with millions discovering his music - with a flood of comments and messages. He responded personally and notes, "I see that my songs really touched people, each in their own way. This is unbelievably gratifying and humbling to me." In 2016 Lots of Love collected viral hits to create: “Lazer Lloyd Guitar Jams”. The "America" track from his October 2017 release, Freedoms Child  has exploded on social media with millions of views, comments and shares.

Lazer has followed up with "Backstreets" a special single that addresses the discussion started by "AMERICA" and the song has attracted a massive following on Spotify and other platforms kicking off what has become "An American Conversation in Song"...  http://lazerlloyd.com/news
